My name is Chris and I am a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and practicing in Adult Social Care.
I am a qualified Practice Educator and also hold qualifications as a Best Interests Assessor along with a MSc in Psychology.
I have extensive experience working with adults and children of all ages and more recently with unpaid carers.
As a Practice Educator, I take a great deal of pleasure from seeing my students grow and achieve. I've had great success in supporting people with both the academic and practice sides of their learning.
I am proud to have twice been nominated in the Social Worker of the Year Awards and received the Silver award as Newly Qualified Social Worker of the Year as well as a Special Commendation as part of a team nomination the following year.
I am passionate about social work and social justice and look forward to working alongside you to help you grow and achieve.

About Me
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a qualified Social Worker in 2020, and I haven’t looked back since.
I provide a comprehensive set of services to help boost your learning journey to becoming a social worker and offer support as you navigate your academic and practice challenges.
Students all need differing levels of support, which sometimes they find difficult to gain from their education provider. I can work on one-off tasks with you or, if required, I can work with you closely in order to achieve the results that allow you to push forward with a new, positive mindset.

Services
What I Provide
As a UK social worker, registered with Social Work England and as a qualified Practice Educator, I love nothing more than seeing others develop, and reach their full potential. I provide support that can help you understand the process of learning and improve on both the academic and practice elements of social work. I am not an essay writing service, you will still do the work but, with my guidance and support, you can improve both your understanding and your grades. I have supported many students, both formally as PE and informally as a colleague. You will find some of their feedback in the reviews section of this website. I look forward to working with you to achieve your best potential.
Your dissertation feels like an enormous piece of work that is almost impossible to tackle. It doesn't have to be this way!
I can provide you with sessions to help explore your topics of interest, making best use of your past knowledge and experience. I can help you break the whole process down into manageable tasks. Working together, we will find realistic deadlines to help you stay on track for your submission date.
My advice would be to start thinking about your dissertation as early as you can. Settling on your subject matter takes time and thought and is best when not rushed.
If you are confident in your writing and want an independent perspective on your work prior to submission, I can read and feedback on your work to allow you to make final adjustments and improvements before submission.
Depending on your situation, I can tailor the level of support according to your needs.

I have tried to keep my pricing structure simple and cost effective. I appreciate that not everyone can afford to pay expensive fees.
For essays up to 2000 words: I will read and provide structured feedback to help you both improve your essay and ensure your references are on point. The fee for the initial reading and feedback is £25, and for each subsequent version of the same essay, £15.
So, if I read and comment on your essay 3 times, the fee would be £55.
For essays over 2000 words and up to 3500 words:
The service will be as described above but the fee will be £30 for the initial reading and feedback with subsequent comments on the same essay being £20.
So for a 3000 word essay that I comment on 3 times, the fee would be £70.
Ideally, we will liaise initially and agree a plan, ahead of you sending me your essay. If possible, please don't make last minute requests for help that require anything more than one round of feedback, as it will be difficult for us to meet short deadlines together.
Although I will always do my best to support a student in need, I may be working with several students at one time and have multiple needs to prioritise.
For dissertation support, please contact me to discuss your needs so I can give you a fair quote for the help you need. I can provide both email liaison and online meetings to help you decide. Our initial consultation of 30 minutes will be free as this will help you decide if you would like to engage my help.
Remember, you remain responsible for your work and its submission as per your university requirements. I am here to coach, support and guide you, not to write your essay for you.
As a result, you will become an increasingly confident writer who can transfer these skills directly into your social work practice.
Reflective Supervision
What I Provide
Reflective Supervision is a key element of Social Work practice. Making sense of situations, learning, growing and challenging our assumptions are all important elements of any Social Work role.

Although many employed posts offer monthly supervision, for those who are self employed, agency based or independent, this can easily be overlooked and result in CPD requirements for Social Work England or your own country's regulator not being met.

Additional Services
Alongside my standard essay coaching service, I am also able to offer remote PA support to your social work related business, practice educator services and proof reading.
These services are bespoke to your needs and start at £17 per hour.

PA Support
If you are a sole trader or small business, keeping up with the administrative side of your work can be a challenge. I am able to offer PA services on a remote basis to assist you in keeping up to date.
Proof Reading
Writing complex documents is a key element of all social work practice. We are unlikely to spot errors in our own work so having someone to proof read documents on your behalf can be helpful in ensuring all your written elements are to the highest standard.
Practice Educator
As a fully qualified Practice Educator, I am able to offer services for those completing social work placements, perhaps via 3rd sector organisations or alternative routes to the Local Authority option. If you are already a PE and require Direct Observation of your practice for your portfolio submissions, I am able to provide this virtually via Teams or Zoom.
Terms of Engagement
I do not provide an essay writing service but a coaching one to support you in your learning and writing of social work essays and dissertations. You remain responsible at all times for your work and it's timely submission. I work hard to provide my students with the best assistance possible and those who have worked with me freely attest to this (see my reviews page). I typically have turnaround time of 48 hours to return your essay to you with my feedback however will try, wherever possible to accommodate your needs for shorter timescales. Payment is required at time of engagement and can be made each time I read your work to prevent you paying more than is necessary. I will not encourage you to spend more than is required to ensure you are happy with your essay (as far as any student is ever happy with their work). In order for me to best support you, essays will be submitted in a Microsoft Word document and you will provide your university guidance, learning outcomes and marking matrix to enable me to understand the university requirements. I am happy to answer questions you may have about any of these terms.
